SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY
SHIPPING & LOGISTICS
- Carrier Rates: Shipping times and rates are determined at checkout according to Canada Post or UPS carriers. Expedited services are available at an extra cost depending on the package carrier.
- Taxes & Shipping: Taxes and shipping fees are calculated at checkout.
- Lost or Stolen Packages: BUT 1ST NAILS is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages confirmed in transit by the carrier. In the event of a missing delivery, a claim must be initiated with the package carrier, and we will work alongside you to help ensure a resolution.
- Customs & Duties: We are not responsible for any cross-border customs, duties, or brokerage fees. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Payment Methods: We do not accept Zelle or Cash App. Safe and secure payment options—including Debit/Credit cards and PayPal—are processed directly through our Shopify checkout.
RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
We offer a 7-day return window for eligible products from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with proof of purchase.
Regional Terms & Restrictions:
- 🇺🇸 United States Orders: Returns are accepted for eligible or defective products within our 7-day window. We do not accept or process exchanges for US orders. Return postage costs must be fully covered by the customer, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- 🇨🇦 Canada Orders: Returns are accepted within our 7-day window. For verified defective or damaged items, please contact us at but1stnails@outlook.com so we can evaluate the issue and provide a return shipping label. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- 🌐 International Orders (Outside Canada & USA): All international sales outside of Canada and the United States are strictly final sale once they cross the border. If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must contact us via our website within 5 days of delivery to be considered for an exception review.
NON-RETURNABLE & FINAL SALE ITEMS
To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety for our professional gel systems and cosmetic products, certain items are strictly non-returnable. This includes:
- Open, unsealed, or used professional gel products, top coats, or acrylic powders.
- Custom press-on nail sets (made to order based on your sizing).
- Designated promotional sale items, final sale collections, and gift cards.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Order cancellations must be requested prior to the order being processed and shipped. Once your order has commenced shipping, it cannot be recalled, canceled, or refunded.
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please note that original shipping fees and customs duties are non-refundable.
